Monday musings

Ok, maybe this isn't really the best use of the word "musings", but I just wanted to be all creative and think of a "m" word to go along with Monday, so there you have it.  Anyway, a few things on my mind today.

Eli

Yep, football season has started.  Most of the analysts have been bashing Eli Manning since the end of last season (even his former teammates have gotten in on it).  Granted, he had a pretty bad year last year, especially at the end.  But I think all of the bashing is uncalled for.  Key players on his team were injured, and they had a lot of drama going on.  He was a third year player that everyone was expecting to behave like a veteran leader, which he is not....yet.  And they were comparing him to Peyton saying he wasn't like his big brother...Again...YET!  Anyway, he had a great night last night, even though the team lost.  Looks like some of the analysts are backtracking pretty hard.  I love it.

More on Ron Paul

Ok, so I established in the last post that Ron Paul has the support of Danny Is RIGHT.  That means I'm going to wear y'all out with as much Ron Paul propaganda as possible.  :)

Here is a video with two key points being made about Ron Paul.

1.  Pat Buchanan says Ron Paul fits in most closely with his ideals.  Well, that's a great compliment it you ask me!

2.  When asked about whether or not Clinton should still be in the White House, Ron Paul says he voted to impeach Clinton, so obviously the answer is no.  I can think of a certain front-running candidate from Tennessee that's running for the Republican nomination that did NOT vote to remove Clinton for office.  Nuff said.

Let it be a reminder to all of you that there are forces out there (seen and unseen) that want to stop you from having a relationship with the One who loves you more than anyone else has or ever will.  He is all we should want.  He is all we need.  He is EVERYTHING.
